The Villager is looking for a new editor – can you help?
Ursula Hurst has been the editor of The Villager for the last two years and has made a wonderful job of producing a lively, colourful, extremely informative and enjoyable read, whether on-line or delivered through residents’ letterboxes. Issue 92 (December 2024) will be the last edition until a replacement comes forward.
The Villager is the local newsletter for the community of Murton and the surrounding areas. It is published four times a year. Two editions are sponsored by the Parish Council and two by kind donations from readers.
The newsletter gives updates on parish affairs, report of topical items and gives timetables for events and meetings of local groups.
There are regular features on gardening and cookery as well as the travel blogs of readers reporting on their visits to interesting places.
